The story will live on inside my head a lot longer than most, because of how immersed I was in every aspect of it. The author did a phenomenal job of making me taste, see, smell, and experience everything right along with the characters. My favorite part of it all though has to be the setting! It's magical, vibrant, and mesmerizing! I could feel the excitement in the air, hear the music from the carousel, smell the funnel cake and cotton candy, and see the burlesque dancers performing on stage. The sex scenes damn near set my kindle on fire! I will never look at carnival rides the same way again. 🤞🏻įull of angst, passion, amazing banter, and a connection that pours off the pages, the romance is everything I hoped it would be! There was never a moment where I wasn't either intrigued, entertained, or fanning myself. Rewrite the Stars by Charleigh Rose is just the second book I've read by this author, but I can already tell she's going to be one of my favorites! I love angsty NA romance, and she did a stellar fucking job keeping me captivated by this one.
